Four holy relics of Lord Buddha are flown from India to Mongolia, as part of celebrations of Mongolian Buddh Purnima falling on June 14. A 25-member delegation from the Ministry of Culture led by Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju will carry the sacred relics to Mongolia and will be kept in the country for 11 days. The relics will be displayed at the Batsagaan temple in the Gandan Monastery. The Buddha relics, currently placed in the National Museum, are known as the 'Kapilvastu Relics'.
