The Madhya Pradesh Start-up Policy was launched by PM Modi during the Madhya Pradesh Start-up Conclave that was being held in Indore on the 14th of May 2022. The launch was done by the PM via video conference.

• The Madhya Pradesh Start-up portal was also launched by the PM. During the launch, the PM also interacted with the start-up entrepreneurs.
•  The aim of this start- up portal is promoting start-ups in the state and encouraging the state’s budding entrepreneurs.
• In the state, there are 1,937 start-ups that have been recognized by the government and out of these 45 per cent are being run by women.
