The Government of Gujarat has decided to give a financial assistance of Rs 5000 per person belonging to tribal community for pilgrimage Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

• This announcement was made at a gathering in “Shabari Dham” which is a pilgrim site in Dangs district of Gujarat. Shabari Dham is associated with Lord Sri Ram.
• On the occasion, it was decided that state-level ‘Dussehra Mahotsav’ will be organised at different places of pilgrimage related to Lord Ram every year in
• Following a decision by Supreme Court, “Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust” was set up in November 2019. This trust is entrusted with the task of constructing the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya.
