Explanation:

The Government of India has constituted a 12-member National Steering Committee, under the chairmanship of K Kasturirangan, for formulating guidelines for changes in the CBSE / NCERT curriculum. The Committee has a term of three years. The document, called as the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), was last prepared in 2005.
Kasturirangan is the former Chief of ISRO and has also headed the committee that drafted the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
