“Home in the World: A Memoir” by Amartya Sen to Hit Stands in July 2021

Nobel laureate Amartya Sen has penned his memoir titled ‘Home in the World: A Memoir’.
The book is set to be released on July 08, 2021.
It will be published by Penguin Random House.
In the book Sen shares details from his life and explores his idea of ‘ Where is home’, because for Amartya Sen home has been many places, like Dhaka in modern Bangladesh where he grew up, the village of Santiniketan (founded by Rabindranath Tagore) where he was raised by his grandparents, Calcutta where he first studied economics, and Trinity College, Cambridge, to which he came aged nineteen.
He also shares how Rabindranath Tagore gave him his name Amartya.
