Eric Carle, American Author of best-selling children’s book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ passes away at 91

Veteran American children’s books writer, illustrator and graphic designer, Eric Carle, has passed away. He was 91.
Carle was known among children for his classic book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, published in 1969.
The book has been translated into more than 66 languages and sold more than 50 million copies.
Carle has written or illustrated more than 75 books, for young children, including The Grouchy Ladybug, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, among other classic works.
