A new book titled “India and Asian Geopolitics: The Past, Present” has been released, which has been authored by Indian diplomat Shivshankar Menon, who was the former National Security Adviser of India under Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh (2010-2014).
The book talks about the changes in Independent India’s foreign policy choices throughout its history, maps its present-day challenges, and analyzes how India’s policies are likely to evolve in response to new challenges.
The book is published by Brookings Institution.
Shivshankar Menon had previously served as the Foreign Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs from 01 October 2006 – 31 July 2009.
