UN Projects India’s GDP to grow 7.5% in CY 2021

The United Nations (UN) has projected India’s growth forecast for Calendar Year 2021 to 7.5%, in the latest World Economic Situation and Prospects (WESP) report.
This is 0.2% higher from its previous projection of 7.3% in January.
Further, the United Nations has projected India’s GDP to grow by 10.1% in Calendar Year 2022, against 5.9 percent estimated earlier .
The World Economic Situation and Prospects 2021 is a report produced by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA).
