Explanation:

The Budget 2020-21 had envisaged to mobilize Rs. 2.1 lakh crore from disinvestment proceeds during current fiscal year, of which Rs. 90,000 crore was envisaged for disinvestment in financial institutions.
As on 20th January, 2021, the Government has been able to raise Rs. 15,220 crore of which Rs. 443 crore was raised through Initial Public Offer (IPO) (Mazagaon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL)),
while Rs. 10,169 was realized through Offer For Sale (Rs.4924 crore- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Rs. 771 crore- Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Rs. 4474 crore- Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC),
Rs. 2770 crore was yielded through buyback (Rs. 156 crore- KIOCL, Rs. 1065 crore- NTPC Ltd., Rs. 173 crore- RITES Ltd., and Rs. 1376 crore- NMDC Ltd), and Rs. 1838 crore from other transactions.
