Barclays Projects India’s GDP at -6.4% in FY21

Barclays has revised down its GDP forecast for India in the current fiscal year 2020-21 (FY21) to (-) 6.4% from its earlier estimate of (-) 6%.
However, Barclays has raised its FY22 (2021-22) growth forecast to 8.5 percent from 7 percent.
