Madhya Pradesh becomes first state to offer govt jobs on basis of NRA score

Madhya Pradesh becomes the first state in the country to offer government jobs on the basis of marks obtained in the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) test.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that this common eligibility test will save the students of the state from appearing in multiple tests and also the travel costs incurred on them.
Earlier, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced its intention to reserve the seat of all state government jobs for the people of the state.
The Union Cabinet has approved to set up National Recruitment Agency which will conduct a Common Eligibility Test to provide jobs to the youth.
This common test will replace the individual tests conducted for jobs through RRB, SSC and IBPS.
Once, the agency is established, candidates will be required to appear for only one common exam and those qualifying it will be eligible to get jobs in all the participating organisations.
However, the exam will be conducted at three levels- Graduate, 12th pass and 10th pass candidates.
This test will be conducted in online mode across the country.
The score card of CET will be valid for three years.
CET will bring a transparency in the recruitment process.
