Cyclonic Storm ‘AMPHAN’ over Southeast Bay of Bengal

The Cyclonic Storm ‘AMPHAN’ over Southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood has intensified into a Severe Cyclonic Storm over the region.
Cyclone for Coastal areas of West Bengal and Cyclone watch for Odisha's coastal lines have been issued.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into deep sea for the next three days. Light to moderate rainfall at most places with heavy falls at isolated places is also very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during next 12 hours.
