PCB Bans Cricketer Umar Akmal for three-year

Pakistan’s test cricketer Umar Akmal has been banned from all forms of cricket for a period of 3 years by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Disciplinary Panel, on corruption charges.
The PCB has charged the 29-year-old, Akmal with two breaches of Article 2.4.4 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code in two unrelated incidents related to failure to report approaches made ‘to engage in corrupt conduct’.
