Goa Partners with Innovaccer to Launch Country’s First Self Assessment Tool for Covid-19

The Government of Goa has launched a COVID 19 self-assessment tool, to assist people in identifying symptoms and risks of being infected by novel coronavirus, without having to visit a healthcare facility physically.
With this, Goa has become the first state to launch India’s first digital initiative to tackle novel Coronavirus.
The self-assessment tool named ‘Test Yourself Goa’ has been launched by the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Goa in partnership with Innovaccer.
It has a short individual survey that seeks information such as name, contact number, location, asks questions about recent travel to high-risk countries, symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, and any existing health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, hypertension among others.
Based on a survey, the self-assessment tool tells whether you are likely or not likely suspect of COVID-19, as per the US CDC’s guidelines.
