India’s Magesh Chandran lifts Hastings International chess title

India’s grandmaster Magesh Chandran Panchanathan wins the title in the 95th edition of the prestigious Hastings International Chess Congress at Hastings in England.
He won the Asian Junior Championship in Sri Lanka in 2003 and became the Grand Master in 2006.
He belonged to Madurai,Tamil Nadu.
The Hastings International chess tournament is a round-robin tournament started in 1895.
