Art Icon Akbar Padamsee passed away at the age of 91

Celebrated painter and artist Akbar Padamsee died at the Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore ,Tamil Nadu.
Akbar Padamsee was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2010.
He also received a gold medal from the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi in 1962 and JD Rockefeller foundation fellowship in 1965 and Kalidas Samman award by the Madhya Pradesh Government for the field of Plastic Arts during the year 1997-98.
