Fitch lowers India GDP growth to 4.6%

Fitch Ratings cut India's GDP growth forecast for 2019-20 fiscal year to 4.6 per cent, citing weakening business and consumer confidence.

Fitch Declared growth will gradually recover to 5.6 per cent in FY21 and 6.5 per cent in the following year with support from easing monetary and fiscal policy and structural measures.
