Former MP Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo dies at 76

The titular head of Odisha’s Gajapati dynasty and former parliamentarian, Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo passed away at the age of 76 due to prolonged illness in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
He was member of Indian National Congress representing the Berhampur parliamentary constituency.
In 1998, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and moved to Biju Janata DAL (BJD) in 2009.
