Explanation:

• 8th International Tourism Mart 2019 is held in Imphal, Manipur from 23 to 25 November 2019.
• This annual event is organised in North Eastern region by Union Ministry of Tourism in association with North Eastern States.
• Theme - 'Sustainable Tourism an engine for Economic Growth and Employment'
• The event will bring together the tourism business fraternity and entrepreneurs from the eight North Eastern States. It will also facilitate interaction between buyers, sellers, media, Government agencies and other stakeholders.
• The State Government of Madhya Pradesh has also been invited to participate and give a presentation as it is paired State with Manipur under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative.
