India to host 19th SCO Heads of Government Council next year

India will host the 19th Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2020.
This will be for the first time that India will host the high level meeting of the SCO.
The SCO is a China-led eight-member economic and security bloc, in which India and Pakistan were admitted as full members in 2017.
The SCO is Headquartered in Beijing,China and Present Secretary General of SCO is Vladimir Norov.
SCO holds two types of summits every year - Summit of Heads of States and Summit of Heads of Governments.
The latest Summit of heads of government was held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) in November 2019.
The 2019 Summit of Heads of States was held in Kyrgyzstan and next Summit of Heads of States to be held in St.Petersburg,Russia in 2020.
