Former PM Manmohan Singh is nominated to Parliamentary panel of Finance

Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh is nominated to the parliamentary standing committee on finance.
This position was previously held by his party colleague Digvijay Singh, who recently resigned.
He Served as 13th Prime Minister of India From 2004 to 2014.
He worked as Chief Economic Advisor (1972–76) and governor of the Reserve Bank (1982–85).
