Bangladesh lifts ban on Hilsa export to India

Bangladesh Government will allow 500 tons of Hilsa fish to be exported to India.Also Bangladesh accounts to nearly 75% of world Hilsa production.
Hilsa is an endemic species of Bangladesh. It is generally referred to “King of Fish” for its soft texture and pleasant flavor. It is the national fish of Bangladesh.
