38th India Carpet Expo.

The CEPC – Carpet Export Promotion Council has organized 38th India Carpet Expo at Varanasi.The aim of the expo is to promote cultural heritage and weaving skills of hand made Indian carpets.
The carpet producing belt exported around 1,765 million USD worth carpets in 2018 – 19 financial year. They are exporting carpets to more than 70 countries in the world.
Germany and other European countries were the traditional importers of Indian carpets.
