Where the Kabin-nama is silent on the question whether the dower is to be prompt or deferred, then according to hanafi law

the whole may be awarded as prompt

it has to be regulated by the custom or usage of the wife's family

in the absence of any proof of custom, one half is prompt and the other half is deferred
