Civil Procedure Code (CPC) 1908 Special Suits

According to Section 83 of the Code -

Alien enemies residing in India without the permission of the Central Govt. may sue in any court otherwise competent to try the suit, as if they are citizens of India

Alien friends may not sue in any court otherwise competent to try the suit, as if they are citizens of India

Alien enemies residing in India with the permission of the Central Govt. may sue in any court otherwise competent to try the suit, as if they are citizens of India

Alien enemies residing in India either with or without the permission of the Central Govt. may sue in any court otherwise competent to try the suit, as if they are citizens of India
