all of them
- Option 1: Section 125 of the CrPC is indeed a measure for social justice. It's designed to protect vulnerable groups like women, children, and elderly parents. It aligns with constitutional principles under Articles 15(3) and 39, which focus on positive discrimination and welfare.
- Option 2: This section imposes a responsibility on men to provide for their wives, children, and parents if they cannot support themselves. It's based on the principle that family members should care for each other.
- Option 3: The provision applies regardless of the personal laws of the individuals involved. Thus, it offers a uniform remedy irrespective of religion or personal law.
- Option 4: All the above options are correct as they collectively describe the scope and intention of Section 125 CrPC.
