- This section is not relevant for the examination of witnesses. It deals with plea bargaining in criminal cases.
- Option 2: Section 387 Cr. P.C.
- This part of the code is concerned with procedures related to appeals and not with examination of witnesses.
- Option 3: Section 284 Cr. P.C.
- This section allows a Magistrate to dispense with the attendance of a witness and issue a commission for examination. It's applicable when the personal attendance of the witness cannot be procured without delay, expense, or inconvenience.
- Option 4: Section 289 Cr. P.C.
- It does not pertain to witness examination. It relates to the trial proceedings in warrant cases by Magistrates.
