Receipt by a servant or agent of a part of the profits of the business in which he is working by way of remuneration, will not make such receiver a partner in the business. 

There is no bar to the widow or the son of a deceased partner to enter into partnership, but a clear agreement to that effect has to be proved.

An agreement between an author and his publishers by which some royalty is payable to the author is not an agreement of partnership.
