Directions: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions that follow:

Five persons T, N, R, C and G went to the market on different days of a week from Monday to Friday, but not necessarily in the same order. They wore different types of cloths among Cotton, Silk, Wool, Leather and Linen. Additional information about them is given below.

Three persons went to the market between the persons who wore Cotton and Leather. T wore Silk cloth and went on one of the days after C. C did not wear Linen. Two persons went to the market between R and N. R and G did not wear Leather. The number of persons who went to the market before N is more than the number of persons went to the market after N. C did not go to the market on Monday.

    Two

    Incorrect Answer

    Zero

    Correct Answer

    Three

    Incorrect Answer

    Four

    Incorrect Answer
    Explanation:

    - First, arrange the people with their clothing. Note that there are three people between those who wore Cotton and Leather.

    - T, who wore Silk, went after C. Since C is not on Monday, C could be either Tuesday or Wednesday.

    - Two people are between R and N. N must be early in the week because more people go before N than after.

    - R and G did not wear Leather. This helps us place them in relation to the Cotton and Leather.

    - Now we place N early in the week (Monday or Tuesday), which means there are more people before N than after.

    - Adjusting according to the conditions above, let's say N went Monday, and T on Tuesday. Therefore, T (Silk) went immediately after N, leaving no one between them.

The correct number of people between T and N is Zero.
