Banker Dhanaraj T has assumed office as the executive director of the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB).

The appointment is for three years effective from March 10, 2024, according to a statement.

Prior to this role, the 53-year-old served as the chief general manager at Indian Bank. Beginning his career as a rural development officer in 1994, he holds an agricultural engineering degree from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
