A two-day Anthurium Festival has commenced with great enthusiasm and festivities in Reiek, Mamit District. The festival is being organized by the Department of Tourism in Mizoram. 

The Tourism Secretary stated that the Anthurium Festival is a joyful occasion and serves as a platform to exhibit the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Mizo people.

Anthurium Festival 

• The Anthurium Festival is the most popular festival celebrated in Mizoram, and it's a successful tourism promotion venture organized by the Tourism Department.
• This two-day festival takes place annually at the Tourist Resort Reiek, located in Reiek, a picturesque and quaint village situated about an hour's drive from the state capital, Aizawl. 
• It truly represents the beauty of the state and is celebrated as a festival amidst nature during the peak season of the exotic and beautiful anthurium blossom.
