Uttar Pradesh will soon be home to India's first Telecom Centre of Excellence, which will come up at the IIT Roorkee campus in Saharanpur.

• The center will focus on devising ways to connect artificial intelligence with 5G and enabling a swift and seamless launch of 6G in India.
• To be built at a cost of ?30 crores, this new centre of excellence in UP will not only boost innovation but also provide employment opportunities for the state's youth.
• The foundation stone for the centre will be laid by the Chief Minister on December 5.
