Explanation:

Given, r= 5 cm and volume of cylinder = πr²h = 500π

⇒ h = 20 cm

So, the diagonal of square = 20 cm

⇒ Side of the square = Diagonal/ $\sqrt{2}$ = 20/ $\sqrt{2}$ = 10 $\sqrt{2}$ cm

∴ Perimeter of square = 4 × side = 4 ×10 $\sqrt{2}$

= 40 $\sqrt{2}$ cm
