Karma Puja, one of the most popular festivals of Jharkhand is related to the harvest and a tribute to the Karam tree. It is dedicated to the worship of Karam-Devta, the god of power, youth and youthfulness. It celebrated for good harvest and health.
- Kama puja is a main festival of Jharkhand which is dedicated to lord Karma and this year it will be celebrated on 25 September 2023.
- In this festival, people worship the Karam Rani, the Goddess of wealth and children in the Hindu month of Bhado (August-September) on the 11th day of a full moon (Purnima).
- The tribal festivals of Jharkhand are popular for their excitement and exuberance. Among many tribal festivals, the most important festive occasion is the Karma Puja in Jharkhand.
