(A) is true but (R) is false.
(A) is false but (R) is true.
A blood group is a classification of blood, based on the presence and absence of antibodies and inherited antigenic substances on the surface of red blood cells (RBCs). These antigens may be proteins , carbohydrates , glycoproteins , or glycolipids , depending on the blood group system. The reason that AB blood types are universal recipients is because by having both A and B type antigens, they don't have the antibodies that A - blood types have against B-type blood and vice versa.
