All the above
The main objectives of the invasion of Mahmud of Ghazni in India was plunder the wealth of India.Reasons for Invasion of India Mahmud of Ghazni and Muhammad Ghori were the two major rulers from Central Asia who invaded India during eleventh and twelfth century. Thu factors were must crucial in their campaigns in India. • Internal situation in India: India lacked the ex Wence or a united. powerful state to resist these invasions. • Conditions in the Central Asia: After the disintegration of the Abbasid Invite in the Weil and Central Asia, there emerged many aggressive and expansionist states. Their area of rule had very little economic base. and the main source of their income was plunder of the neighbouring territories. However, the objectives of campaigns of Mahmud of Ghazni and Muhammad Ghori were quite different. The motive of Mahmud was not the establishment of an empire in India. His main interest was in the acquisition of the proverbial wealth of India. The loot and plunder would replenish the treasury of Ghazni and enable him to consolidate his vast rule in Khurasan and expand further in the Central Asia. On the other hand, Muhammad Ghori believed in establishing an empire in India. The Ghorids state in the Central Asia was a militaristic state, and his area of rule, Ghur, did not yield much revenue as it was not suitable to huge agricultural production. As a result, he used to levy heavy taxes on prosperous areas like Khurasan and Mem This made the Ghorids unpopular in Khurasan, and they were forced out of this area by the Seljuks. This forced eviction and the perpetual conflict with the Seljuks and the Turkish tribes were the factors that compelled the Ghorids to stride towards India.
