To which group do the tribals of the central and southern India belong ?
Negroids
Proto-Australoids
Mongoloids
Western Brachycephals
Negroids - The term has been used by forensic and physical anthropologists to refer to individuals and populations that share certain morphological and skeletal traits that are frequent among populations in most of Sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Southeast Asia. Proto-Australoids - The Proto-Australoids were an ancient hunter-gatherer people descended from the first major wave of anatomically modern humans to leave Africa around 50,000 years ago. Characterised by gracile body types, they are thought to have had dark skin colour, approaching black, and wavy or curly black hair. They had long heads (dolichocephalic) and broad, flat noses, like the inhabitants of modern-day Oceania and parts of Africa, parts of India, Burma and the islands of Southeast Asia. Mongoloids - belonging to the division of humankind including the indigenous peoples of East Asia, SE Asia, and the Arctic region of North America. Western Brachycephals - These groups consist of the three main types: (i) Alpinoids represented by Gujarati Banias, Kathis of Kathiawar and Kayasthas of Bengal. (ii) Dinaric represented 'by populations of Bengal, Orissa and/Coorg (Karnataka). (iii) Armenoids represented by Parsis, Bengali Vaidyas and Kayasthas.
