BHOJA (MIHIR BHOJA) (836-885 A.D.)
An important ruler of the Pratihara dynasty was Bhoja, because he rebuilt the empire after its temporary destruction by the Rashtrakutas.
The Arab traveller, Sulaiman,visited during his reign and paid tribute to the efficiency of Bhoja’s administration in his writing.
Bhoja’s dominion extended upto Sutlej in the North-West, the foot of the Himalayas in the North, Bengal in the east, major portion of Rajaputana in the west and upto Narmada in the South.
Bhoja was a devotee of Vishnu and adopted the title of Adivaraha.
