Charbagh style and Pietra dura ornamentation are the major differences between Sultanate and Mughal architecture styles. Both are characteristic of Mughal style of architecture. Charbagh style is the presence of square garden, divided into 4 main parts by causeways in the centre of which ran shallow water- channels. Pietra dura refers to technique of creating intricate inlaid pictures from shaped colored stones. This work is prominently visible in Taj Mahal, Buland Darwaza and Red fort. Hence both 1 and 2 are correct.3 is incorrect. Red sandstone was used both by Sultanate and Mughal architectures.
