The India Meteorological Department has announced that the country is likely to witness a near-normal monsoon this year, with a well distributed rainfall that could be beneficial for the agricultural sector.As per the forecast, there is a 39% chance of a 'near normal' rainfall, 32% possibility of a 'below normal' rainfall and a 10% chance of an 'above normal' rainfall.
