Gangetic River Dolphin "

The Ganges River Dolphin or also called ‘Susu,’ is the National Aquatic Animal of India.
Gangetic Dolphins are found in the river systems of Ganga, Brahmaputra, Meghna, and Karnaphuli- Sangu in Nepal, India, and Bangladesh.
Dolphins have been included in Schedule I of the Indian Wild Life (Protection) Act 1972.
The Gangetic river dolphins can only live in freshwater, are blind and catch their prey in a unique manner, using ultrasonic sound waves.
