Operation Cactus was one of a kind as it was the first mission on a foreign land led by Para 6 Unit of Indian Paratrooper. The first and foremost challenge was gathering troops at Agra airbase and arranging 60 tonnes of jet fuel for the military aircraft. The second challenge was to keep this mission secret until the Indian Forces land in the Maldives because the Indian government didn't want the rebels to have any hint of India's action through the media.
