If Fundamental Rights are of any significance for the people of this democratic country, it cannot be felt more than having a fundamental right to life and personal liberty that is guaranteed to us by the Constitution. Similarly, if the contribution of the Supreme Court is to be appreciated from the view point of its role in evolving a new jurisprudence of Constitutional rights for the people of this country, then again this important fundamental right hogs the lime light.
