In the recent Supreme Court ruling, the court observed that elected government of Delhi cannot be undermined by an unelected ‘titular’ administrator. The concurrence of Lieutenant governor is not necessary for every decision of the Delhi Government and a decision communicated to LG is valid. The court did not rule anything about the status of Pondicherry.
