As according to article 138(1) of the constitution, Parliament can enlarge the jurisdiction and powers of the Supreme Court with regard to any matters in Union List. At the same time, the jurisdiction with regard to any other matter can be enlarged by a special agreement of Government of India and Government of any State. The administrative expenses of the Supreme Court,including all salaries, allowances and pensions payable to or in respect of the officers and servants of the Court, shall be charged upon the Consolidated Fund of India, and any fees or other moneys taken by the Court shall form part of that Fund.
