As per the anti defection law, a member of a house belonging to any political party does not get disqualified from being a member of the house if:
If a nominated member of the house joins any political party after expiry of six months from his date of joining the house.
If he abstains from voting in such house contrary to any direction issued by the party
If a member after being elected as the presiding officer of the house, voluntarily gives up the membership of his party or rejoins it.
If an independent member joins a political party after such elections.
