Consider the following statement about 1935 act:
1.It prescribed a federation with provinces and such native states who were willing to join as units.But each province and native state was free to choose whether to join the federation or remain separate.
2.It indroduced dyarchy at the centre.On reserved subjects which included security,foreign affairs, defence etc., Governor General acted solely in his discretion. On the transfered subjects, he was to act in accordance with the advice of CoM who were responsible to the legislature.
3.The electorate was enlarged to 30 mm but high property qualifications meant only 10% could vote.
4.The federation came into existence in 1937.
