Targeted Beneficiaries: The focus of the IMI 3.0 will be the children and pregnant women who have missed their vaccine doses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aims: To reach the unreached population with all the available vaccines under the Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP) and thereby accelerate the full immunization coverage of children and pregnant women.

What is the Mission Indradhanush? ‘Mission Indradhanush’ was launched by the Government of India in Decmber 2014.
Intensified Mission Indradhanush 1.0: It was launched in October 2017. Under IMI, greater focus was given on urban areas which were one of the gaps of Mission Indradhanush.
The Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0 targeted the districts which have immunisation coverage of 70% or below.
