Simlipal National Park is a national park and a tiger reserve in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. It is part of Simlipal-Kuldiha-Hadgarh Elephan reserve. The name Simlipal is derived from Semul tree which is one of the abundant tree species found here. Semul trees are red silk cotton trees that bloom here.
