Explanation:

 From 1st April 2015, PMAY has been brought under the ambit of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) project of the Ministry of Finance. It entails electronic transfer of funds directly from the State nodal account to the beneficiary’s account thereby reducing delays, inefficiencies and leakages involved in routing of funds through multiple levels of administration. The fund management module in Awaassoft has accordingly been customized to enable seamless flow of funds using the platform provided by Public Financial Management System (PFMS). This document has been designed to provide insights into AwaasSoft-PFMS integration and navigate users through the newly developed electronic fund management system (eFMS) module in AwaasSoft.
